"Devastating, shattering, a masterpiece."
– Time Out

Middle-aged, unhappily married, and inebriated, George and Martha are stumbling home from a late-night party, when a couple arrives at their doorstep. Young, sexy, and new in town, the surprise guests - Nick and Honey - are everything that George and Martha are not. What follows is a rambunctious evening of dangerous mind-games and reckless antics fuelled by drink and driven by spite - unravelling bitter rivalries and long buried secrets.

Part dark comedy and part love story, Edward Albee’s 1962 masterpiece is a modern classic that continues to reveal the hard truths about our primal capacity to hurt those we love the most, and how we deal with the harsh realities of life.

Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

  • Pangdemonium's ‘Falling’ exceeds expectations with a simple yet poignant storyline. The cast's stellar performances draw you into the struggles of a family navigating autism. The emotional intensity is palpable, making the experience both difficult and profoundly moving. Despite the discomfort, the production's excellence shines through, leaving a lasting impression. Bravo, @pangdemoniumtheatre, for delivering another outstanding theatrical gem.

  • Falling’ is more than just a play; it is a testament to the power of storytelling in fostering empathy and compassion. It serves as a mirror reflecting the realities faced by those affected by ASD and how much more our community can do to support these kids and those awesome caregivers, while also celebrating their unique strengths and perspectives. This extraordinary production offers not only entertainment but also a profound opportunity for reflection and growth. Come and witness the brilliance of Pangdemonium's Falling, a theatrical masterpiece that leaves an indelible mark on your heart and mind.

  • What's life like for individuals with autism and for their caregivers? FALLING shows us with heart, humour & gut-wrenching humanity. Powerhouse performances from Andrew Marko, Karen Tan, Dwayne Lau, Rebecca Dass & Lok Meng Chue, make this play essential-viewing. Everyone needs to see this. Thank you Pangdemonium for bringing this back.

  • Kudos to Pangdemonium for restaging this amazing performance and bringing to light struggles that often go unspoken in the autism community. Andrew Marko's acting was phenomenal and I would highly recommend catching it.

  • When I watched this in 2016, ‘Falling’ touched my heart and gave me the feels.
Watching it in 2024, it touched my heart and gave me the feels all over again.
What a wonderful job both rounds, Pangdemonium! Thank you for reviving such a wonderful play with a powerful message, and raising awareness for the Autism community. You guys are amazing!

  • An absolute MUST-watch! FALLING by Pangdemonium. This live in-person theatre experience had me sobbing. Standing ovation for the cast and crew who told the story of a family raising an autistic 18 year-old, Josh played by Andrew Marko, who was BRILLIANT. As the Artistic Directors rightly put it, FALLING is not a sob story, but "merely one chapter of one family's life" that also "highlights the need for society's apathy towards autism to be replaced by empathy

    , halimkopi
  • Falling’ by Pangdemonium was just as incredible as the first time it was staged. I watched it twice in the original staging because it was just so good. I'm not an outwardly emotional person but this play shatters me completely, there is no escaping it.
The show is such a powerful medium for bringing important topics like autism advocacy and caregiver support/burnout/guilt to the forefront. I urge you to catch Falling if you have the means to - you will not regret it at all.

    , donthavelah
  • The magic of live theatre: the phenomenal performance by the cast very honestly portrayed the life of and with Josh. Very grateful to Pangdemonium for telling a story that’s so raw, emotional and humbling. I hope more people watch it; more education will lead to more awareness and hopefully better societal acceptance

    , jowwaye
  • Pangdemonium has broken my heart with this brilliant piece of theatre. We think we all know that the families who have members on the spectrum are having it tough, but do we really? The stellar cast gives us a glimpse of their everyday lives and I have to say my heart is truly, truly broken, and goes out to all the families who are leading parallel lives.
May you all be strong warriors. EVERYBODY PLEASE DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR:
    GO WATCH

    , aricia.ng
  • I am once again reminded of the power of theatre, and its ability to bring out depths in every emotion and every word spoken. This is my second time catching this play by Pangdemonium, and I love it more than ever. Andrew Marko was phenomenal. Definitely walking away with new perspectives and understanding, and the urge to do a little more with what I have.

"IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT LOVE... FALLING IS YET ANOTHER WINNER FROM PANGDEMONIUM. A MUST-WATCH.”
– Straits Times Life

Tami and Bill are ordinary parents with extra-ordinary responsibilities. Family life is a precarious balancing act as they bring up their two kids – Lisa, 16, all attitude and angst; and Josh, a profoundly autistic 18-year-old. When this delicate balance is shattered by the arrival of a visitor, it literally becomes a matter of life and death for this family.

Playing to sold-out houses and unanimous acclaim in our 2016 run, FALLING has been repeatedly requested for a revival. And it is time to retell this enlightening story that explores the lives of a misunderstood and marginalised minority in our community, and examines the meaning of unconditional love.

Winner of the Straits Times Life Theatre Award for Best Director, Best Actor, & Production of the Year (Reader’s Choice).

A strong script and cast... carries this powerful story to its climatic conclusion”
– The Straits Times

Fall. 1964. The Bronx.

12-year-old Donald is the first ever Black student at St. Nicholas Church School.

Father Flynn, the popular parish priest, takes the boy under his wing, but the imperious school principal Sister Aloysius is mistrustful of Flynn’s intentions and begins to suspect him of acting inappropriately.

As accusations and confrontations escalate, naïve young Sister James is caught in the crossfire, and the scandal takes on a whole new dimension when the boy’s mother steps into the fray.

This conflict of conviction, credibility, and culture unearths troubling questions of faith, truth, and morality, as everyone’s fate hangs in the balance.

Meanwhile, a 12-year-old boy waits in silence...

This powerful and shattering play, adapted into an Oscar-nominated film starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman, is more relevant and urgent than ever. It challenges us to reflect on our supposed morals, question our faith, and dares us to doubt our long-held beliefs.

"The level of talent and skills on stage... rival touring casts on Broadway and the West End."
– The Straits Times

Once upon a time, in a marvellous multiverse of musical fairy-tale heroes and villains…

The Witch, the Wolf, the Giant and the Stepmother have unleashed pandemonium on the kingdom. Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack (of Beanstalk fame) and the Baker assemble to avenge the evils dealt to the people. On their mission to save their world, they venture into the woods.

But their path is booby-trapped with blips, as they get entrapped by Daydreams, ensnared by Desires, and enslaved by Wishes. And then things get reeeally fee-fi-fo-fummed-up…

The late, legendary Stephen Sondheim’s spellbinding music and words combine with James Lapine’s wild and witty script in this ingenious, subversive mashup of our most beloved fairy stories. Full of heart, humour and honesty, this magical musical has much to teach us all about growing up, growing old, love and marriage, parents and children, action and consequence, good and evil, life and death.

Whether you’re 10 or 110, we promise you a journey into the woods you will not soon forget.

Nominated for 10 Tony Awards, Winner for Best Book and Best Original Score.

  • “Extraordinary…A brilliant, brilliant production delivered by a superb cast. Exquisite direction and design. And a tour de force performance by the wonderful Sharda Harrison. Thank you, Pangdemonium, for delivering this vital play.”

  • “It’s been so long since I watched something that made me feel so much. Went in with my walls yup but the writing and the commitment to the performance just bulldozed its way through. Tonight was a sobering reminder to feel all the feelings, to sit in the mess, and that we are all doing our best to figure it out.”

    , @tanhuier_
  • “The actors broke my heart and moved me continuously throughout the play. And what a GREAT SCRIPT!!! GO AND WATCH THIS PLEASE!!! One of the best things I have EVER WATCHED! On top of just brilliant, sensitive, powerhouse acting, this show was pure good ol’ theatre magic - I was having an EXPERIENCE, my disbelief fully suspended. The bodies!!! Alive!!! In space!!! The sequences!!! Lights, set, sound, everything!!! Dammit I love theatre!!!”

  • “It’s gripping, it’s raw, it’s engaging. Pangdemonium hits the spot again, and every time they are addressing domestic social concerns, and they never fail to deliver! Thank you! It’s such a privilege to experience such a spectacular performance! Bravo! Bravo!”

  • “Grateful for Pangdemonium once again - Thank you for tackling the dark topics of our human condition, for always delivering it so honestly and vividly, and for opening up difficult conversations. Blown away by the acting. Love the traverse stage and surprises. And fully shaken by the mercilessly brutal script.”

    , @wahderer
  • “Loved so many things about this - the phenomenal acting, the relatable scenes that gave me goosies, the existential topics, the clever set design, the madness…it didn’t feel like three hours at all. Easily one of the best things I’ve watched and it really lives up to its hype. Please catch it!”

    , @anwarfive
  • “Superb. It is a tour de force in terms of staging, direction and acting. An 11-strong cast, led by the powerhouse that is Sharda Harrison, took us through the intimate horrors of drug addiction and the toll it takes on an addict and the people around her. This play cracks open window and gives life and breath to the issue. At 3 hours, its not an easy ride, but for those who appreciate good theatre and solid writing, this is it. Don’t miss it.”

    , Ong Soh Chin
  • “This might have been the best thing I've ever seen. 3 hours of complete immersion and an emotional rollercoaster. Thank you for such an amazing experience, Pangdemonium.”

    , @bharat_k

    , Gynelle McHugo Gaskell
  • “An absolute thrill ride. Intense story - a truly eye-opening look at the challenges that addicts face. Fantastic use of projection and sound. The production was incredibly well-executed, and the performances was nothing short of stellar.”

Meet Emma – professional actor, consummate performer, chameleon-like make-believer.

Meet Emma – pathological pretender, compulsive liar, hopeless addict.

Committed to rehab, she desperately clings on to her alter egos and imagined personas, as her world spirals into a surreal abyss. Friends, family members and fellow addicts morph into figments of fantasy, her sense of self fragments, and she is forced to ask: which version of me is the real me?

Together with Emma, we embark on a thrilling, trippy journey. And as we see, hear, and feel everything from her perspective, our own reality begins to fracture, and we find ourselves asking: which version of this story is the truth?

Duncan Macmillan’s brilliant People, Places & Things is a devastating exploration of a person’s desperate need to escape real life, a riveting examination of the parallels between theatre and therapy, between art and addiction, and unlike any theatrical adventure you will have experienced before.
