"You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be a better person when you leave the theatre. Don't miss 'Come From Away'.”
– Broadway World

25 years ago on 9/11, a tragedy led to a miracle

On the morning of September 11, 2001, the people of the little town of Gander, Canada, wake up to the horrifying news of the terrorist attacks taking place in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. The attacks result in the closure of US airspace, diverting 38 international aircraft to Gander International Airport. The Gander townsfolk spring to action to house, feed, clothe, comfort and provide a home away from home for the nearly 7,000 terrified passengers, along with 19 animals in cargo…

We are thrilled to stage this inspiring, uplifting, once-in-a-lifetime musical – an incredible true story about real people, and a celebration of love, life, and the very best of humanity.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best Musical, and nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Book of a Musical.

"Unmissable, extraordinary, will send audiences out either raging or invigorated.”
– The Guardian

THE TRUTH LIES BEFORE YOUR EYES

In an unnamed totalitarian state, a secret theatre production is being staged under the guise of a wedding. Gradually, fact and fiction begin to blur, it becomes unclear who or what to trust, and not a single person is safe – not even the wedding guests…

We are very excited to be the first after its acclaimed London debut to stage Sam Holcroft’s ingenious play, A MIRROR, an explosive and enthralling play examining truths and lies, love and freedom, and theatre itself. Darkly comic, playfully provocative, and full of surprises, this is one “wedding” you will be talking about for a long time – at your own risk.

"A dose of pure joy. Profoundly funny and heartbreaking."
– The New York Times

LIFE IS SHORT. MAKE IT AN ASS-KICKING ADVENTURE!

Being a teen sucks— adolescent angst, your first crush, school shenanigans, peer pressure, and the usual parental pandemonium. For Kimberly it also means being the weird new kid in school, dealing with her alcoholic man-child of a dad, taking care of her hormonally-hysterical pregnant mum, her family being on the run from something, and her crazy aunt trying to recruit her as an accomplice in some kind of hair-brained heist.

And, oh yes, Kimberly also has an extremely rare genetic disorder that accelerates her aging process. Which means she is 15 going on 16, but living in the body of a person four and a half times her age.

Which also means that her next birthday could well be her last.

With her unique biological clock ticking away exponentially, friends and family pulling her in different directions, and a secret bucket list, Kimberly must make some tough decisions about how she wants to live (what’s left of) her life.

Adapted by David Lindsay-Abaire (Pulitzer Prize Winner for Rabbit Hole) from his own acclaimed play of the same name, with gorgeous music by Jeanine Tesori (Fun Home), KIMBERLY AKIMBO is the feel-good – actually, make that feel-everything – musical of the year. Funny, outrageous, and full of heart, it will take you on a great adventure, and make you believe that you have the power to change who you are born as, and make your life better.

Winner of 5 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

“Where on earth do you see goodness or beauty? ...We’ve lost everything that’s beautiful…”

Three sisters. Treading water, dreaming of another life. Their brother. His own dreams drowned by life’s realities. Friends visit their home, giving them cause for celebration. Lovers come into their lives, offering them the promise of passion. Strangers enter their world, bringing with them the dawn of new dreams.

“We can all go back. Back where we belong. And we’ll find ourselves again. Find life again…”

But finding life again may mean tearing this family apart…

Making its WORLD PREMIERE with Pangdemonium, Stephanie Street (winner of Best Original Script at the Straits Times Life Theatre Awards for Pangdemonium’s 2017 production of Dragonflies) has reimagined Anton Chekhov’s masterwork Three Sisters, into a bold, beautiful, and breathtaking tale for our time, exploring hope and the human condition.

Pangdemonium says: “This play will speak to every one of us who has known love, loss, and longing.”

"A taut, gripping road trip tale that grapples with friendship, identity, and the meaning of home."
– Naeem Kapadia

Three Gen Zs: two Singaporeans, one American. Zero chance of survival.

In a remote northeastern corner of the United States, by the shoreline of the majestic Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the grand Kalamazoo River, lies the legendary promised land called Singapore. Unfortunately, it now exists only as a ghost town. Founded in 1836 as a port to rival the likes of Chicago, it survived leadership power struggles, financial scandals, and the 40-day Blizzard of 1842, to become a thriving trade hub with a population of seven hundred.

And then, tragedy struck, and by 1875, Singapore was no more… Fast forward to 2025. Enter a pair of “real” Singaporeans and their American friend – three friends on a mission to find the mythical place that was Singapore, Michigan. On their adventure, history repeats itself, as they too find themselves trapped in a blizzard, facing life-or-death questions: will they survive the cold? Will they survive one another? Will they survive without Indomie?... Well, at least it’ll give them lots to TikTok about. And as they freeze, fight, and freak out, sordid secrets are spilled, shocking surprises are sprung, and they soon discover that they are actually searching for answers to life’s conundrums – passion vs practicality, dreams vs duty, and what it means to be “Singaporean” in the 21st century.

In this world premiere of Singapore, Michigan, playwright Ong Chong An has crafted a fiery and fiercely funny story, excavating issues that will resonate with all of us who call Singapore home. Truly.

Singapore, Michigan was commissioned by Pangdemonium under our New Works Lab playwriting mentorship programme, led by our Associate Director Timothy Koh.
