Positions available:

Business Development Manager

We are seeking to fill the pivotal position of Business Development Manager, a challenging and exciting role on our team that is crucial to the viability of Pangdemonium’s operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with the Relationship Manager and in collaboration with our Artistic Directors to attract and secure funding and in-kind support and play a vital role in supporting our esteemed theatre company. The work will include a focus on corporate giving, donor relations, event management, and revenue generation.



Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify, secure, and grow corporate partners that result in cash donations, cash sponsorships and in-kind support for Pangdemonium.
  • Source and secure institutional grants and gifts from private and public foundations and charitable trusts.
  • Collaborate with the business team to identify donor arrangements for each production ensuring financial viability and strategic alignment.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to further engage current corporate donors and source new ones to meet annual revenue goals.
  • Compose high-quality external communication documents, including sponsorship marketing materials, grant applications, proposals, presentations, agreements, and statutory reports.
  • Manage existing partners, donors, and sponsors to ensure continued relationships.
  • Continually build associations to maintain a pipeline of potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters. Keep a dynamic contact tracking system for effective follow-up.
  • Interface with the Board, Artistic Directors, and the Pangdemonium team to plan and manage the annual fundraiser, other fundraising events, and entrepreneurial initiatives throughout the year.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of charitable giving and fundraising policies and guidelines, as well as sector standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to and support other departmental work as required.

Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in business development, partnership, sponsorship, and fundraising.
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting financial goals, with expertise in developing and implementing successful pitches and proposals to potential donors.
  • Demonstrate experience in maximising opportunities from researching prospects to generating leads and securing income.
  • Employment experience in the performing arts, charity, or not-for-profit environments is a plus.

Project Manager – Fundraising (Contract)

We are seeking an exceptional individual for the exciting position of Project Manager, Fundraiser (six-month contract position). Reporting to the General Manager, you will work closely with the Relationship Manager to ensure the success of our annual fundraiser.


Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning phase of our annual fundraiser – PangsGiving.

Sponsor management, including attending meetings with sponsors, development of proposals, drafting of contracts with the sponsors, and providing advice on communications plans to donors about the fundraiser.

Meeting financial targets set for the fundraiser.

Conduct weekly work-in-progress meetings with the fundraising team and ensure that marketing and operational timelines are met.

Provide guidance on the marketing of the fundraiser to ensure interest and participation in the event.

Track the budget effectively to ensure financial viability for operational costs.

Provide expert advice on charitable giving and fundraising policies and guidelines, staying abreast of sector standards and best practices.

Develop the operational plan for the event day and lead in the seamless execution of the fundraiser.

Prepare a post-event report for sponsors.


Requirements

● The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of experience in fundraising, hospitality or project and events management.

● A track record of business development, partnership, sponsorship, and fundraising for events.

Employment experience in the performing arts, charity, or not-for-profit environment is a plus.

Ticketing and Sales Assistant
Learn to manage and provide ticketing support for our productions. This includes working with our ticketing software, assisting with customer service enquiries, and managing sales and ticket distribution.

Marketing Assistant
Be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. This includes graphic design, photography/videography, copywriting, creating marketing materials and assisting with social media planning. 

Fundraising Assistant
Assist in the planning, execution and evaluation of fundraising campaigns and initiatives. This includes researching potential donors, creating fundraising materials and assisting with special events.
