The Full Monty

Synopsis

“The full monty” is British slang for “the whole thing”, or “to go all the way”.

The Full Monty is also the fun, funky, feel-fantastic musical comedy that Pangdemonium popped our cherry with in 2010, with a sold-out run, rave reviews, and folks begging for more.

Now drop everything and get ready to be blown away by our bigger, bolder and ballsier 2020 re-boot of The Full Monty – bursting with songs, thongs, and shlongs, and packed with even more heart, humour, and hunkles.

Six ordinary guys – Jerry, Dave, Harold, Horse, Malcolm, and Ethan – have just been retrenched. Strapped for cash and stripped of their dignity, they make the desperate decision to go one further – to make a quick buck by putting together a strip show.

As our sexy sextet counts down to showtime, they have to juggle parental responsibility, peer pressure, performance anxiety, and pianist envy; while learning lessons in friendship, loyalty, fidelity, self-respect, unconditional love, and, ultimately, what it means to be a 21st century man. All part of the process towards putting on a rip-roaring performance, climaxing (so to speak) by giving the people what they promised…. The Full Monty!
